Groupe Promec is actively seeking three underground electricians to join our team in Nunavut!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, connect and test underground electrical systems (conduits, cables, panels, equipment, etc.);
Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams and technical drawings;
Diagnose and correct breakdowns or defects;
Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical infrastructure and equipment at the mine site;
Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and electrical network;
Any other tasks related to the performance of duties.

RESEARCHED PROFILE

DEP in electricity or any other relevant training;
Licence C qualification required;
Possess a valid explosives permit and FMTM (1 to 5.7) or Common Core mining modules;
Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the mining field;
Be a good team player;
Be resourceful and versatile, while paying attention to detail;
Ability to communicate in English (oral and written).

WORKING CONDITIONS

Schedule: On 14/14 fly-in fly-out rotation;
