The Department of Economic Development and Transportation is accepting applications for the Inuit Tourism Business Mentorship Program. This program supports tourism business owners in Nunavut in leveraging their skills, knowledge, and professional capacity to grow their businesses.
The Inuit Tourism Business Mentorship Program offers training for five Inuit tourism business owners and operators in Nunavut. Each mentorship includes up to 10 days of dedicated project time and includes a combination in-person and virtual sessions. Each mentorship will last four to six months. Three of the five spots are filled, and we are looking for two more participants.
To be eligible, applicants must be a Nunavut Inuk entrepreneur or operate an Inuit-owned tourism-related business.
To apply, please send an expression of interest to dperezcasas@gov.nu.ca with detailed information about your business, tourism services you offer, what makes you a good candidate for the mentorship program, and what you would like to learn.
The deadline to apply is August 26, 2024.
